For later programs it is 90 days before the beginning of the program. Early bird
registration qualifies for a discount which is given in parenthesis.
LATE REGISTRATION - All registrations close 21 days prior to beginning
of the course unless indicated otherwise or if maximum capacity is filled even prior
to 21 days before the course. There is a late registration penalty of $20 or 10%
of the event cost, whichever is higher, to register after planned closing date.
COURSE CANCELLATION - Courses with inadequate enrollment or any
other unexpected circumstance may be cancelled by the Institute with full refund.
Registrants initiating cancellation 21 days prior to course beginning will receive
a full refund except for a $20 processing fee. Registrants cancelling less than
21 days before the course will not get any refund, but the total amount minus the
$20 processing fee can be used for any other course by the registrant or a substitute
within 12 months thereafter.
COURSE CERTIFICATION – Please note all costs given here are for
non-credit attendance of course. For certification there is usually an additional
fee of $100. Please see cost section of Academic Bulletin for certification fees.
LIABILITY WAIVER – All participants must understand that they will
take personal responsibility for observing the safety requirements of yoga practices,
ensuring that they get any advice on what can be done by them or not from their
medical advisors, and will hold Life in Yoga harmless for the effects of participation
in these programs. A waiver may need to sign before participation.

Healing with Yoga Retreat

This is a program for de-stressing and healing the effects of stress. People of all ages and abilities, irrespective of physical abilities are welcome to attend. Affirmation Techniques are very powerful and advanced yoga practitioners should consider adopting these for their daily practice and add 10 minutes of practice every day in the morning and evening. Several examples from different traditions are discussed and two techniques, Energy Meditation and Karma Cleansing, are taught and practiced.
